Too often Latino education leaders opt out of career advancement, because they haven’t been adequately supported. It’s hard to see yourself as a leader when current leadership doesn’t share your background, culture, or unique strengths.
We support Latino educators as they become the confident, skilled leaders they were always meant to be.
What we Do
Our mission is to develop the next level of Latino/a Leaders ready to take on leadership roles in schools, districts, and across the state. This is accomplished through a professional learning community that supports growth through coaching and mentoring.
Sobre el programa.
Our annual cohort program consists of five in-person Saturday morning sessions, along with a series of sip and learns. Topics will focus on issues that are highly relevant and of significant interest to aspiring Latino school leaders, and have a substantial impact on students and staff. Past topics have included:
